Ah, the first day of 2014.
A new year.
First day of a fresh start.
I didn’t exactly set resolutions, but instead chose one word for the year, more about that in a later post.
This morning finds me up early to post and get ready to go to the airport and hug Kadee as she departs for Baltimore. More about our family Christmas in a later post…it was wonderful, although just as many may have felt….flew by in a blink. I won’t want to let go of her, I’ll want to feel her warmth longer, whisper and kiss her cheek more, hold my beautiful sister a little tighter to be sure she knows how very much I love her…I believe she does.
Whether or not I wanted it to come so fast the first is here, onward we go into 2014.

The lovely boards are crafted from 19th century European timber by Hungarian artisans. Looking forward to tastings of cheese and fruits and all that goes along with that on these boards in 2014.
