Soft fluffy blanket, sweet sleepy newborn, warm sunny bedroom and a happy mama…that was all we needed for this shoot. I have been fortunate to photograph this beautiful family as they have grown over the years. This bundle in pink is the newest addition, making parents of one into parents of two and a very happy little girl into a big sister.
Could not have asked for a more relaxed mom and baby, she curled up in the basket with ease, let her mom adjust and move, add a headband bursting with color and a little sparkle. She was perfectly happy to curl up on the big bed and even decided to open her eyes for us.
Dad and big sis came near the end which was perfect to catch some casual family shots of all of them together. Scarlett has hit the jackpot in families, she will be loved and adored every single day. Always wonderful to capture memories for a family, even more heartwarming when you have seen them evolve over the years and the pure joy that is their family.
I am catching up on blogging some previous shoots, so now this little Scarlett is a couple months old and looks much different than she did in her newborn days, but oh to remember them. In a blink, they are gone.
