Extraordinary happened when my sister Kadee was born. Two days ago she graduated from medical school and gave the commencement speech for her amazing class. I am beyond words to express seeing her up there (bare feet and all) and to know everything she has done and sacrificed to get to this point. Now onward to getting her to Baltimore, but first a celebration tonight because it also happens to be her birthday.
Happiest of birthdays Kadee…to a year full of more bursts of color and of course some sparkle.
