Sweet baby Landon.
This was a particularly lovely shoot, he was less than a week old. The new parents were relaxed and at ease with his occasional fussing and desire to bury his head right into the blankets. He wanted to be held the entire morning which made for such intimate warm images.
At the end of the shoot we headed up to his bedroom. Decorated in shades of blue with fish decals and custom words of love made just for him. One wall was lined with shallow shelves holding books to be read over and over. It was easy to see Landon growing up in this room, decorated with such care down to every detail.
Photographing a newborn is extra special, to capture the details that may be more like a blur to the very tired and busy new parents.
